Your taxes are done – so let’s wind down with an AG Wine & Design Class! With our AG Wine & Design Classes, we enjoy introducing our participants to new & exciting things going on with other local, independent restaurant and food businesses! One of our favorite collaborations last year was so much fun that we decided to do it again! Cheesemonger Extraordinare, Steven Merkle from Marché, will teach us about fine cheeses & wine pairings. Last year, we learned that certain wines can make certain cheeses taste really funky. This is important information!!
The hands-on, floral design component of our April class will include creating a vased/container design including seasonal flowers. Each class participant will create a beautiful arrangement that will be boxed and bagged at the end of the class for easy transport home. At Andrew’s Garden, we use premium, high-end, seasonal flowers to create exceptional, garden-style designs. In each AG Design Class, you will learn how to choose, handle and care for flowers for the best results. We will show you how to combine different varieties of flowers, greenery and other natural materials to accomplish that recognizable style you have come to expect from Andrew’s Garden. Along the way, we will discuss basic design concepts including size, proportion, color-balance, vase choice, and so on. You will be having so much fun that you won’t even realize how much you are learning about flowers!
Since this is a Wine & Design Class and we have invited Marché to bring the wine, we ask that you please do not BYOB this time. Thank you!
General Information for AG Design Classes:
- Space is limited and most classes sell out.
- Unless otherwise indicated, classes are held at Andrew’s Garden, starting at 7:00 pm.
- Most classes last 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
- Class fees are per person & include all flowers and supplies. Wine & Design Classes include wine and small bites.
- You may BYOB except for Wine & Design Classes (when food & beverage is included in the class fee).
- AG Design Class fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we will apply your class fees as a credit toward the cost of another AG Design Class of your choice. Since we purchase flowers and supplies for each class, we cannot offer a credit for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
