Back by popular demand, our June class will show
you how to create a fresh floral arrangement for your favorite vase from home! Whether
they are flowers from your own garden or fresh stems you buy, you will learn
how to choose and arrange an appropriate bouquet for the size and shape of your
vase. Please bring your own vase to this class as no vase is included.
We recommend a vase with an opening at the top that is about 3 to 4 inches
in diameter. If you do not have a vase, then you may purchase one of your choice
at the beginning of class. If the vase you bring is too large for the size of
arrangement planned for the class, then we will recommend that you either
purchase an alternate vase or additional stems of flowers to add to the bouquet.
Each class participant will create a beautiful arrangement that will be boxed
and bagged at the end of the class for easy transport home.
At Andrew’s Garden, we use premium, high-end,
seasonal flowers to create exceptional, garden-style designs. In each AG Design
Class, you will learn how to choose, handle and care for flowers for the best
results. We will show you how to combine different varieties of flowers, greenery
and other natural materials to accomplish that recognizable style you have come
to expect from Andrew’s Garden. Along the way, we will discuss basic design concepts
including size, proportion, color-balance, vase choice, and so on. You will be
having so much fun that you won’t even realize how much you are learning about
flowers!
General Information for AG Design Classes:
- Space is limited and most classes sell out.
- Unless otherwise indicated, classes are held at Andrew’s Garden, starting at 7:00 pm. Most classes last 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
- Class fees are per person & include all flowers and supplies. Wine & Design Classes include wine and small bites
- You may BYOBÂ except for Wine & Design Classes (when food & beverage is included in the class fee).
- Â AG Design Class fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and we will apply your class fees as a credit toward the cost of another AG Design Class of your choice. Since we purchase flowers and supplies for each class, we cannot offer a credit for no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
