Our Speakers:
Sh. Jabir Tarin, AMFT, Director of HFSAA West Regional Operations
Shaykh Jabir Tarin is a registered associate marriage and family therapist and has 7+ years of clinical practice. He has done many talks on eating halal foods and the verification of the products we are eating and on importance of Men’s Health and discussion on physical strength from a perspective of a believer.
He has served as a teacher at several Islamic institutions, including Dua Seminary, where he teaches the Islamic Sciences, and Nur Institute"
Sh. Jabir is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Halal Food Enthusiast. He’s the Director of HFSAA West Regional Operations and has been doing various workshops on halal food industry in America and the importance of the food we consume.
Shaykh has also been doing a series on Prophetic Manliness where he has spoken about importance of physical health from a man’s perspective.
He will speak on the topic of - The Spiritually Strong Believer.
To give an insight into the modern workings of the halal food world in a modern society and how to better navigate this space as a practicing Muslim
The goal is to address the direct link between spirituality our bodies have and our diet.
Topic areas include - connection with Allah, food we consume, clearing up food myths in the Muslim community, and insight into modern meat practices.

Ilham Malick is a Registered Dietitian, and has her double Masters degree in Dietetics. She’s also a Certified Health Coach and has an Ijazah in Hadith Studies.
She is currently working at the Alameda County Community Food Bank as the Nutrition Program Manager.
She’s very passionate about Prophetic Nutrition and has given many talks and held nutrition camps in different masajid all over the Bay Area since 2017.
