Founded in 2011, the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival (IPRHFF) is dedicated to creating a platform enabling Latinos and a diverse pool of international influencers in entertainment and educational filmmaking to reach a broader audience through cinematic storytelling.
The festival’s mission is to foster a collaborative environment for artists to explore issues inherent to their Puerto Rican and Latino heritage. Participants range from emerging artists to film industry veterans.
To qualify for consideration for awards by the Festival, films & videos must be on the subject of Puerto Rico, the Diaspora of its people, or have Puerto Ricans in any production positions. (e.g. Producer, Writer, Director, Actor, DP, Editor)
