27th Annual Tar River Festival

Artisans, business vendors, and non-profit organizations line the streets for this event. Many new activities are being planned this year, including our first ever Tar River Festival Food Truck Rodeo. The Switch Band, one of the Southeast's premier party bands, will perform. The Kids Zone includes inflatables, various rides, an arts and crafts booth, and a face painter. 

 

Again this year, we are featuring the River of Yesteryear, providing demonstrations of cultural and heritage-based events. We are expanding this part of the festival this year to include even more history and great learning experiences.

 

The festival is a family event, held rain or shine. Hosted by Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce.
