The New Jersey Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission is proud to host our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative event. This year’s program will include guest speakers, music, and arts all of which will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King in law and justice. This is a FREE event and is open to the general public. So invite your friends, families, colleagues, neighbors, and whoever you believe will be interested in attending an event that reminds us that justice, equality, and peace are attainable. Dr. King said, "We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right." So please take the time to join us at this year's commemorative event!

No, this is a free event for the entire family to attend.

There is free parking avaliable behind the 225 West State Street Building.

No, you do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes.

No, you can come day of without registering, but the event is on a "first-come-first serve" basis
Will there be refreshments provided?
Yes, there will be light refreshments at the end of the ceremony.
