Certification Overview: The CEP certification is a globally recognized credential for event professionals. It validates your knowledge and skills and requires continuous improvement for four consecutive years. It enhances career prospects, opens doors to new opportunities, and increases earning potential. The CEP certification is administered by Correlations Training and requires passing an exam. The Event Planner Certification training is designed to give you the tools needed to plan events with confidence. You will explore ways to work with venues, vendors, volunteers, and wait staff to coordinate and execute any meeting or event.

How to develop an event planning portfolio (with or without experience)
There are no prerequisites to attend class. Attendees will receive a course workbook as an eBook for class. The eBook is a PDF document, it can be viewed or downloaded on a laptop, tablet, or Smartphone (No Kindle).
An exam is given at the end of class to determine certification eligibility. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate before you leave class. For the online or virtual class, certificates are shipped in the mail within 10-14 business days.
