Beer and wine are some of our favorite traditional beverages, and this month, you’ll have plenty of ways to celebrate their value. Several great beer and wine events are arriving at a few great locations in the next few weeks, and you won’t want to miss them. On Saturday, January 27th, the Tunnel in Manhattan is hosting New York’s annual Beer. Bourbon, and Barbecue Festival. You’ll get the chance to experience over sixty different types of beers, more than forty types of bourbon, and tons of great barbecue food. You’ll get to sample some great Southern dishes and have the chance to participate in some contents, including a bacon eating contest. Now in its eleventh year, Houston’s Saint Arnold Brewery will host its One Pot Showdown. You can participate or sample some great food, which is all made with Saint Arnold’s Beer as an ingredient. The cookoff involves mostly chilis, and on Sunday, January 28th, over eighty different teams will allow you to sample their dishes. You’ll get to partake in Saint Arnold’s great beer as well. Returning to Los Angeles for the third year in a row, this year’s Uncorked: LA Wine Festival event will be held at the Union Station. You’ll get the chance to taste over two hundred different kinds of wine from all over the globe, purchase cocktails at a bar, buy food from gourmet food trucks, get your picture taken, and enjoy some great live entertainment.
