The Pokémon game sensation has swept throughout the world, and its popularity is nearly unmatched. If you are a Pokémon lover, or even if you are new to the game and interested in learning more, then you won’t want to miss the 2018 Pokémon Regional Championships, being hosted by Dallas’s Hyatt Regency DFW Airport in Terminal C. It’s your chance to meet some new friends who share a similar interest, and enjoy a jam-packed day of gaming fun for free.
This year’s Pokémon Regional Championships will have something for everybody. It is a family-friendly event that will allow you to either learn and play, or compete for the title of Pokémon Regional Champion. Winners have the chance to pocket prize money, Travel Certificates, scholarships, and Championship Points that you can use if you want to obtain an invite to the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, which will be held in Nashville this year.
If you are new to Pokémon tournaments and want some instruction, you can opt instead to play in some fun side events. These events include Premier Challenges, League Challenges, 8 player pods, 4 round tournaments, Pokken, Sealed Tournaments, and other fun games. You can also play Pokémon Bingo or learn to play Pokémon trading card games. There will be additional activities for children, like coloring or drawing a Pokémon Picture. Plus, plenty of vendors will be present at the event if you wish to purchase beverages, food, souvenirs, or if you simply want to window shop.
Dallas’s 2018 Pokémon Regional Championships will be held on January 27th and January 28th as an all-day event at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport.
