The biggest and most popular fundraising event for breast cancer is coming to Houston on January 27th, and arrives at the Buffalo Bayou. The Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure is the largest traveling event in the world that both raises money and promotes awareness about breast cancer. If you are ready to race for the cure, then it’s time to get prepared to sign up, donate, and participate.

Raising Awareness And Funds

Every year, The Susan G. Komen Houston Race For The Cure helps to raise money to help promote education and find a cure for breast cancer, and many survivors and supporters participate. The race is always populated by fantastic participants looking to donate time and help support others afflicted with the disease. If you are ready to take action, now is the time to sign up.

When you register, you have the opportunity to select from either a timed 5K race event, or an untimed event. Both prior to the race and after the race, there will be festivities held for racers at the Sam Houston Park.

Registration

If you wish to register for the event, the cost to participate in the race can vary. Registration prices are below.

  • (Not timed, not a breast cancer survivor). $40
  • Adult Timed. (Not a breast cancer survivor). $45
  • Child 17 and Younger. (Not timed). $23.
  • Child 17 and Younger Timed. $27.
  • Forever Fighter Timed or Not Timed. (For those fighting breast cancer). $30
  • Survivor, Timed or Not Timed. (Breast cancer survivor). $30
