Get Literary At Lit Crawl LA

Get Literary At Lit Crawl LA

Oct 16, 2017 Dr Kristina Nelson

Literature lovers everywhere can enjoy the world-renowned Lit Craw experience in LA this fall with the 5th Annual Lit Crawl LA event. Happening on October 25, 2017 in the NoHo Arts District, you’ll get to experience a lot of food, drinks, art, entertainment and fun while experiencing literary enlightenment and discussing some of your favorite authors of all-time.

Art, Entertainment, And More

At the 5th Annual Lit Crawl LA, thirty-six restaurants will be present to serve you the meals you want, all available for purchase. Also, plenty of bars, galleries, theatres, literature presentations, and other artistic entertainment will be present for your enjoyment.

The presentations at the 5th Annual Lit Crawl LA will be with some of the best local experts active in the SoCal literary scene. Over forty presenters will be performing various readings, discussing lit journals, and providing other experiences to literary fans. Also, local performance groups will be present, and you’ll get to experience literature while dining, exploring, and enjoying the entertainment available.

Birth Of The Lit Crawl

Started in 2004 as an offshoot of Litquake, a literary festival in San Francisco, Litquake’s founders decided to offer other literary festivals in other locations in order to promote the culture of literature. Lit Crawls happen every October in San Francisco, Manhattan, Austin, Brooklyn, Iowa City, London, Seattle, Helsinki, Chicago, Portland, Denver, Cheltenham, and Los Angeles.
