Get Your Vegan On At The New Jersey VegFest

Get Your Vegan On At The New Jersey VegFest

If you love vegan cuisine and learning about a healthier lifestyle, then you’ll enjoy the New Jersey VegFest, coming to New Jersey’s Meadowlands Exhibition Center on October 7th and 8th. At the New Jersey VegFest, you’ll get to experience tons of great food, excellent speakers, fashion, lifestyle products, and much more.

A Healthier And Happier New Jersey

The purpose of the New Jersey VegFest is to promote a healthier and happier New Jersey, while offering plenty of educational experiences and fun to help meet this goal. At the event, there will be numerous vegan food vendors, clothing vendors, authors and books on food topics, speakers teaching about healthy eating, and of course, beer. Even if you aren’t a practicing vegan, you’ll still experience plenty of fun and take away the knowledge you need to live a healthier lifestyle.

Some of the food that will be served includes empanadas, veggie burgers, gourmet vegan hot dogs, cookies, and soups. While the menu will be vegan, even non-vegans will enjoy how tasty the choices are.

Keynote Speakers

Several famous food experts will be on hand presenting both days. The keynote speakers at the New Jersey VegFest include:

  • T. Colin Campbell, Saturday October 7th. Dr. Campbell is known for his research into nutrition and how diet can influence cancer. He created the China Project, a renowned nutrition study labeled by the New York times as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology.”
  • Gene Baur, Saturday, October 7th. Gene Baur is known for his research that inspired the first U.S. laws to prohibit inhuman factory farming, and also co-founded the Farm Sanctuary. His voice has helped morals to the food movement.
  • Joel Fuhrman, M.S. Sunday, October 8th. Dr. Joel Fuhrman works as a family doctor and has also written best-selling books on nutrition focused on preventing disease with diet. Dr. Fuhrman has appeared on hundreds of television shows like The Today Show, The Dr. Oz show, and many more.
