Beer lovers in the Los Angeles area this winter will be in for an innovative, educational surprise. For the first time ever, the Extreme Beer Fest arrives on the West Coast, coming to the California Market Center on December 9th. You won’t want to miss this festival. You’ll get to experience a wide variety of brews, learn about your favorite beers, and also help support small, local breweries.
The sponsors of this event, Beer Advocate, are a Boston-based beer resource company that started in 1996. Beer Advocate’s goal is to unite both beer enthusiasts with beer professionals to help support new brewers and create better beer options for all. LA’s Extreme Beer Fest, like most of the beer fests Beer Advocate hosts, operates with the goal of helping independent brewers and beer lovers gain access to each other in order to promote better independent beer options for beer drinkers everywhere.
LA’s Extreme Beer Fest will operate a showcase of brewing creativity and innovation. Many innovative, independent brewers will be on site at the event for beer enthusiasts to sample, helping to bring together new brewers and eager beer enthusiasts.
LA’s Extreme Beer Fest is a one-day event that is held in two sessions (from noon-3:30 pm or from 6-9:30 PM). You must be 21 or older to purchase tickets to the event. Tickets cost $60 per person per session. All ticket purchases include access to all beer tastings, a program, and a Beer Advocate brand govino “glass.” Food is available for purchase.
