Williamsburg is a popular neighborhood in Brooklyn that draws tons of tourists and locals alike. With scenic views of the East River, unique restaurants, and incredible music venues, you’ll be able to find something fun to do. Williamsburg is known for many things but the music scene is quite important. Local bands and more mainstream bands constantly play at the many venues located here.
If you’re looking to just randomly discover a new band or learn more about a music venue, these are four incredible music venues you should check out:
Baby’s All Right
Aside from being an awesome concert venue, they have an incredible bottomless brunch, dinner, and drink menu. With the venue holding around 400 attendees, you won’t be too far away from the band. The intimate space makes this a popular venue in South Williamsburg. There is also a variety of musical genres represented here and the energy is unlike anything you’ll ever experience. Out of all the venues I’ve been to in NYC, this is definitely one of my favorites. The sound system is amazing, which is awesome if you’re looking for a venue that boasts good sound. There are several different rooms with DJs playing all types of music. You’re bound to find a room with music that suits your taste. During the summer, you could head up to the rooftop and enjoy a drink while basking in the beautiful view of Manhattan. If you’re looking to check out a specific DJ or band, I highly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance to avoid the long lines. Check Output here.
TBA Brooklyn
With limited venues that play EDM, it can be hard to find a decent venue in NYC. TBA Brooklyn is one of the best venues for you techno lovers! The $10 cover gets you a free drink, which is pretty awesome. The DJs are amazing at getting you to dance and have a good time. Check it out here.
Union Pool
Many people come here for the concert venue as there are many local performers. With the classic Brooklyn bar theme, they even have a swimming pool, which is perfect for the summer! The outdoor space is perfect for the summer where you can lounge on picnic benches and nosh on yummy tacos from a food truck.
