If you are in search of a talented Latin band for your next event, then look no further than the Spice Band. The Spice Band is internationally renowned and has performed all over the world, and is certain to bring all of the necessary entertainment and charisma to rock your next event.
The Spice Band’s History
Together for ten years, the Spice Band formed in 2004. The band started its live music career performing at top bars and hotels, and then later progressed to traveling around the world. The band traveled to China in 2004 for a three-month stay, bringing along with it a new three-piece horn section, and then in 2006 the band performed in Singapore for six months. Next, in 2006, the band performed for eight months at the New World Hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
By 2008, some of the band members left the band, and the band’s name changed to Rx80s, but they later changed their name back to the Spice Band. Since then, the band has continued to play, offering a wide diversity of music. The Spice Band has no limits as far as pleasing a crowd is concerned and brings much musical potential to any event. For instance, along with their traditional Latin-inspired music, the Spice Band can also play covers of 60s music, funk, and modern day covers.
The Spice Band’s Success
Since the band member shift, the band has had multiple successes, playing at the Aliw Theater, PICC and Araneta Coliseum to do front act for foreign artists like the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, The Buckinghams, The Happenings, Toto's lead singer, Bobby Kimball, Sheena Easton and Rex Smith.
Band Members include Baldo (a.k.a. Ronald Navarro) on lead vocals, Jay Javier on vocals, Kae Almariego on vocals, Arnold Cinco on keyboards, Arnold Evangelista on guitar, Gary Guevarra on bass, and Aaron Ace Manio on drums.
