Mandi Smethells owner of Smooth Hills Weaving will teach you how to make that gorgeous wall hanging you have always wanted! Join us at Weaving LAB and we will fit you with everything you need to make weaving your latest hobby. You will learn everything from fibers and their functions, weaving techniques, getting to know your weaving & tools, and where you can procure great yarns locally. The weaving techniques covered in this LAB include; pain weave, ray loops, shag, basic shapes, fringe, and finishing techniques. Like all of our creative workshops, this is a very hands-on experience. You will get a great start on a wall hanging project with Mandi showing you all the necessary skills to take it home and finish it. Light bites and refreshments will also be served.
