As the school year begins to wind down, you may be thinking about a way to thank our amazing teachers and staff.
The gift card program allows you to donate money to the Maplebrook teachers/staff members who can then select gift cards from their favorite places.
How does it work?
- Parents/Guardians donate in increments of $5 to teachers/staff members.
- Home & School representative provides each teacher/staff member with a note of appreciation totaling the donated amount from families. (Individual amounts are confidential. Only the students names are listed on the cards.)
- Teachers/Staff members select the gift cards they would like using the amount donated for them.
We are using an event platform to collect your gift to teachers/staff members. Participation is optional.
If you would like to contribute funds toward a gift for a teacher or staff member, purchase one or more "tickets" under the appropriate person's name.
Contributions are not refundable.
A note about the service charges:
Home & School typically runs the teacher/staff gift card program on paper using a fundraising/gift card company. However, with the pandemic, we could not use our usual method. We previously used EventCombo for tickets for the adult social, and we knew how the site worked. It allowed us to offer the program quickly.
If we find that we need to run the program online again in the future, we will look for an alternate method.
