GLOBAL PhD RESEARCH PROPOSAL WORKSHOP

Purpose:

This is a unique, practical and empowering virtual international PhD research proposal workshop for postgraduate students and professionals across the world. The workshop is very important and quite equipping as it:

·      Explores the key features for a winning PhD Research Proposal

·      Provides students with opportunity to present their proposals, thus building their confidence as well as presentation skills

·      Provides a novel one to one counselling session to address students’ specific issues about their proposal.

Target:

·      Postgraduate students and professionals from high income economies who are planning or in the process of enrolling or have just enrolled for a PhD.

·      Postgraduate students and professional from low-middle income economies who are planning or in the process of enrolling or have just enrolled for a PhD.

·      Postgraduate students and professionals as well as academics who want to observe the workshop and as scrutineers provide constructive feedback to students presenting their research proposals.

·      Given EIZ has a special focus and interest in the Southern African Development Community (SADC), postgraduate students and professionals from SADC are encouraged to register for this workshop.

Registration

1.  All postgraduate students and professionals who wish to receive tutorial and constructive feedback on their planned PhD research should submit a 15-page PhD research proposal with headings: Introduction, Literature Review. Conceptual Framework. Methodology. Expected Results. Expected Contribution, Reference. Formatting: Font: Times New Roman 12; Double spaced and justified.

2.  Prepare a seven slides power point presentation for your proposed research using the above sub-headings and the seventh slide must only be for your references.

3.  Submission should be made in WORD DOCUMENT via email: eiz.sfs@gmail.com latest by Monday 31^ST August 2020: Time: 00:00 Hrs UK Time.

4.  Participants to make additional submission of their short biography of maximum 300 words, their ticket details and Skype details.
