Free Introductory Ballroom, Latin and Social Dancing Group Class

This winter we celebrate the benefits of dancing by offering a FREE introductory group class every Thursday night at 8:30 PM.

The class is an introduction to the basics of ballroom, Latin and social dancing. In the group class, you will learn the elements that go into creating all the dance steps in all the dances.

Some popular dances we will teach include three smooth dances - the waltz, the tango, and the foxtrot; and three-four Latin dances - cha-cha, rumba, swing, and salsa.

The class is designed for the "two left feet" crowd, beginners who have no experience with dancing.

No partner is necessary, and you may repeat the class as often as you wish, although it will be the same basic class for beginners every Thursday.

Feel free to bring a friend, and please RSVP by the day before you plan to attend.

Fred Astaire Dance Studio, (formerly 604 Valley Road in Upper Montclair) is located at 414 Pompton Avenue in Cedar Grove, in the plaza with the Wine Cellar. Free Parking in the back lot, and we are on the second side of the building.
