Join Arbor Circle to learn the Conscious Discipline way of working with children. This approach is being used throughout Muskegon County and other areas by child care providers, Early Head Starts and Great Start Readiness programs to transform the way they work kids and support parents. Professionals working with parents can learn this transformational methodology that promotes connection over punishment and helps build relationships between adults and the children they work with. This 5 session training will equip you with the knowledge of what Conscious Discipline is and how to use it in your practice setting. This is a great way to support the parents you work with by using the same language, skills and techniques used in the places where children receive care.
This Course is 5 day course with sessions lasting 3 hours each day. The course will incorporate video based learning and discussion. You will receive a workbook for taking notes and following the course.
