Regi Carpenter www.regicarpenter.com is an
internationally known storyteller, author, coach, teacher and producer.
Growing up as a fifth generation "River Rat" in a small town on the St.
Lawrence River Regi shares glorious and gut-wrenching stories of growing
up the youngest of five on a big river with an undercurrent. Her book
"Where There's Smoke, There's Dinner" has won the Storytelling World
Award for Outstanding Writing of Personal Stories. She is also a winner
of the Parents' Choice Gold Award. She has toured and taught nationally
and internationally at a variety of institutions connecting to people
through stories. Her memoir, "Where There's Smoke, There's Dinner:
stories of a seared childhood" is "an unexpected gift that leaves us

Regi is also the founder of A New Mourning~ growing through grief, a creative initiative dedicated to bringing songs of joy and stories of hope to those living with grief and loss.
