Hamilton: Announces more Cities to Tour!

A new musical has captured the hearts of theatre lovers, and it could now be coming to a town near you! Hamilton has just announced more cities to add to their national tour. Hamilton tells the life story of America’s founding father, Alexander Hamilton. It is based on the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton, written by Rob Chernow. Hamilton was nominated for 13 tony awards and won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for drama. Most recently, promoters have added San Diego, CA and Charlotte, NC to their tour, with dates to follow.
Tickets to the play have become a hot item on Broadway and now the country, since the announcement of the national tour. The tour will start next year in San Francisco at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in March 2017 and continue the rest of the year.
Critics of the play state the appeal to a larger demographic, as its score contains contemporary sounds from hip-hop, R&B, and jazz. Tickets and dates have yet to be released to the public. Fans are encouraged to purchase subscriptions or memberships to their theatre in order to secure tickets.
