About Aziz Gilani:
Aziz is a Partner at Mercury Fund, a seed and early-stage venture capital firm. Prior to joining Mercury Fund, Aziz was a Senior Engagement Leader with Infosys Consulting, an early executive at ABB Performance Services, a Senior Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and an Analyst at Lotus Development Corp.
Aziz has spent the past fifteen years focused on software and the internet. He is a recognized expert on Seed Accelerators and has been quoted in several national publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, and others. Outside of his professional work, Aziz is heavily involved in civic organizations. He serves in advisory capacities for South by Southwest, Rice University, University of Houston, Knight Foundation, TiE Houston, and many others. He received his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
