FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Twerkfest is 21+. Don't forget your ID.

What should I wear?

Be fly and comfortable, but don't be extra. You're actually going to look stupid with heels and a club dress on. What you got that suit jacket on for?! FOR WHY?!

Is there VIP/bottle service at Twerkfest 2?

The Black Soutthern Experience Collective doesn't offer VIP/bottle service at our events. We feel it detracts from the down-home, laid-back and judgement-free vibe we've become known for.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from Twerkfest 2?

The Howard Theatre is located in the historic Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. near the U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Metro Station (Green and Yellow lines). Limited street parking is available at your own expense. Just Uber/Lyft over so you can enjoy brown liquor responsibly.

What can I bring into the event?

Your crew and willingness to turn up. Twerk light. Leave your big purse at home.
