ITALIAN WINE TASTING
The "Taste of Italy™," the popular Wine Tasting and Reception is moving back to Friday night! The event will be held this year on Friday, September 22, 2017 and will once again be located in the Seattle Center Armory, right next door to the Italian Festival in the heart of the Seattle Center grounds.
The "Taste of Italy™" is a chance for the general public to try some sixty wines from Italy at the minimal cost of $25 per person in advance, or $30 at the door. Each ticket includes a souvenir wineglass and five 2 oz. tastes of wine. Additional tastes may be purchased for $2.50 apiece, and there will be sparkling water, bread, Italian antipasti and cruditès available for palate-cleansing.
You must be 21 years of age to be able to attend this event and there is no child-care provided. In addition, attendees will be able to view the Le Arti della Festa art & mixed-media exhibition, and the Festa Italiana Historical Photo Exhibit. Patrons can also purchase bottles of wine to be consumed off-premises, or order cases of wine to be delivered the following week.
