North Texas Performing Arts proudly presents their community theatre production of Scrooge, The Musical, by award winning songwriter, Leslie Bricusse, who also created the musical versions of “Jekyll & Hyde”, “Willie Wonka” and “Victor/Victoria”. Receiving four Academy Award nominations and five Golden Globe nominations in its movie version, “Scrooge” closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens’ acclaimed book, A Christmas Carol, in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night after being visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
