The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.

Class Schedule (NO Online option)
Day 1: Sat. June 8th 9 am to 6 pm (1 hr Lunch) In-Person NE Portland
What to bring: Paper and pen. personal water bottle, Lunch
Day 2: Sun. June 9th 1 am to 6 pm (No Lunch) In-Person NE Portland
What to bring:Â paper and a pen, personal water bottle
Second day you will be learning the Physical skills and practicing them with a partner
What to wear : Comfortable loose fitting clothes, close toed shoes. Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED (no sandals, crocs or high heels)
This class is being taught by Adiam Assefa-Slides are presented in English but some portions of class materials may be explained in Amharic for the benifit of Amharic speaking attendees.
