Military to Veteran Transition Sept. 30 Workshop: Financial Literacy and Planning

Veterans, transitioning Active Duty Military Service Members, and Military and Veteran Spouses, are cordially invited to a FREE Transition Workshop: "Financial LIteracy and Planning." Veterans in transition face unique financial challenges. Learn about savings and wealth building strategies, understand how to manage market volatility, and discover ways to minimize your tax burden in retirement. Issues such as Servicemember Group Life Insurance (SGLI) replacement, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) election, and what to do with Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) funds, are only a few of the questions that veterans face. Don't be one of the thousands of veterans that puts themselves at financial risk due to a lack of information or support.

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Workshop Highlights:

Registration and Breakfast: 10:00 am to 10:30 am

Guest Speaker and Q&A: 10:30 am to 11:15 am

Small Group Discussions: 11:15 to 12 pm

Lunch and Group Discussion: 12 to 12:45 pm
