Live event with Danny Pellegrino/How Do I Un-Remember This

Join Anderson’s bookshop for an in-person event with Danny Pellegrino to celebrate the release of his new memoir, How Do I Un-Remember This? All books will be pre-signed; the event will be a presentation from Danny, and will not include any opportunity to meet him or take a photo together due to COVID safety protocols.

From the host of Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino comes a collection of stories you'll be glad didn't happen to you.

This event will be held at Wentz Concert Hall on the campus of North Central College, and pre-registration is required as space is limited.  Each ticket includes a pre-signed copy of the book.

Please read these COVID protection requirements carefully:

Masks are required of all customers, regardless of vaccination status, and must remain properly covering the face for the entirety of the event.

A ticket is required for all attendees, attendance may be capped, and seating may also be restricted in order to allow for social distancing.

Anderson’s Bookshop, the author, and the publisher reserve the right to change the format of this event to a virtual one at any time if it becomes necessary.  A change in format will not entitle ticket holders to any refund.

Failure to follow these guidelines and to treat all participants with courtesy and respect may result in your expulsion from the event.

Danny Pellegrino will take the audience behind the making of his memoir How Do I Un-Remember This?, revealing behind the scenes details, how the project came about, and the intense connection he has to pop culture, nostalgia, and the Midwest that appears throughout the book. He’ll talk about being an LGBTQ creator, and what it’s like to share so many personal details within the writing. Danny will also touch on his hit podcast, Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, including how it came about, growing organically, behind the scenes stories about celebrity guests, favorite moments, and more.

Growing up as a closeted gay kid in small-town Ohio wasn't easy, and Danny has the stories to prove it. But coming of age in the 90s still meant something magical to Danny. The music, film, and celebrity moments of his youth were truly iconic, and his love for all things pop culture connected him to a world larger than the one he knew in the suburban Midwest.
