Katherine is an attorney, arbitrator, consultant and award winning author. She has years of legal experience in business contracts and transactions, insurance, disaster recovery, and as a commercial litigator. She is a co-founder of a domestic and international insurance consulting company, which was sold to an Australian company. Katherine has worked in New Zealand, Australia, Chile and other countries as a consultant on insurance claims helping businesses and others recover after disasters like earthquakes and cyclones. In addition to her law degree, Katherine earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business studying in the U.S., Spain and Singapore. She received the Business Insurance Women to Watch Award, the Mercedes Mentor Award, the Women With Vision (Law) Award. Currently founder and CEO of KSD LAW, Katherine was an equity partner at a national law firm, serving on its management committee, and as chair of numerous committees. Katherine is the author of an award-winning legal thriller series featuring Deviant Agendas and Private Agendas , and the soon to be released Twisted Verdict.
