Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through means of various breathing techniques, yoga postures (asanas) and meditation. Yoga is known to help increase flexibility, tone the muscles, and improve respiration, energy and vitality. This all-levels class, held in the Edendale Branch Library's community room, focuses on linking breath with stretching and movement to help create a more relaxed and balanced lifestyle.
Please bring a yoga mat, comfortable exercise clothes, and water.
The teacher, Jocelyn Yamasaki, is based in Los Angeles. She received her 200-Hour teacher training in Burbank, CA.
