In this TWO DAY masterclass, Jen Rojas award winning cake artist from Cupcakes and Counting, will teach you how to create this beautiful, dark & moody 2-tier wedding cake with delicate sugar flowers and textured fondant.


The class will cover:

  • How to cover a tall cake and achieve sharp edges.
  • How create textured fondant
  • How to paint on fondant using edible paints.
  • How to make a variety of intricate sugar flowers including:
    -     Poppy
    -     Roseo
    -     Freesias 
    -     Lunaria
    -     Blossoms
    -     Berries
    -     Twigs
    -     Leaves

                  • How to use edible dusts to give sugar flowers a more dramatic and realistic finish
                  • How to assemble and strategically place wired sugar flower and foliage


                  This is a decorating class only – no baking involved.   Project will use a dummy cake.  
                  All tools & supplies will be provided along with lunch, light refreshments and snacks.
