In this TWO DAY masterclass, Jen Rojas award winning cake artist from Cupcakes and Counting, will teach you how to create this beautiful, dark & moody 2-tier wedding cake with delicate sugar flowers and textured fondant.
The class will cover:
- How to cover a tall cake and achieve sharp edges.
- How create textured fondant
- How to paint on fondant using edible paints.
- How to make a variety of intricate sugar flowers including:
- Poppy- Roseo- Freesias
- Lunaria
- Blossoms- Berries- Twigs- Leaves
- How to use edible dusts to give sugar flowers a more dramatic and realistic finish
- How to assemble and strategically place wired sugar flower and foliage
This is a decorating class only – no baking involved. Project will use a dummy cake.
All tools & supplies will be provided along with lunch, light refreshments and snacks.
