Awards Ceremony
The 2021 International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival Humanitarian Award will be presented to award-winning actress and author Sonia Manzano. You probably grew up seeing her as Maria on the beloved and critically-acclaimed television show Sesame Street. Her pioneering and creative spirit has spanned decades, playing an iconic character, writing Emmy-awarding television, and writing countless books for both children and adults. We proudly honor a national treasure who has given so much of herself to help generations of children and their families while representing the best of Puerto Rican culture. You don't want to miss this!

Note: There are no refunds. All sales are final. If you are attending an in-person screening event, you must present proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
