This workshop will be held outdoors at a private residence. There is ample space to spread out. Bathroom is available indoors.
Do you have a story (or story idea) that you are looking to get on its feet? Are you looking for an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, put in some work, and unearth or polish that tale? At this stage in your story's development, could you benefit from some supportive coaching, peer feedback, and gentle suggestions from an attentive group? If so, this is the workshop for you.
For this session, your story is everything. We'll dive right in, using our time together solely for telling and feedback. Participation is capped so that each attendee has ample time for sharing a 10-12 minute story and a robust, in-depth discussion afterward.
- No one is going to tell you what you "should" do with your story, but we will offer "coulds," if you'd like.
- You own your story, and you oversee and direct the feedback. The group and I are at your service.
- If your story is shorter, there will be more time for discussion and feedback.
Workshop size will be kept to 7 to insure that participants receive maximum individual attention.
In the event of especially severe weather, we'll poll the group to either reschedule or sub in a Zoom session or an indoor session with cracked windows, ventilation, high powered HEPA medical grade purifiers, and a little spacing.
