We know we’d do “anything for Selenas.” But what about other Latina artists? This weekend let’s all chant, “Anything for Ivonne, Mayra, Sara, Leticia and Maria.” Talented local visual artists Ivonne Acero, Mayra Barraza, Sara Cardona, Leticia Huerta and Maria Teresa Garcia Pedroche express the feminist perspective at the Latino Cultural Center’s (2600 Live Oak St.) exhibition, Cinco Latinas: A Common Thread. Check it out at the free opening reception at 6 p.m. Friday or between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until August 27.
