Beginner's Workshop - Yoga Foundations

This workshop is designed specifically for the beginner yogi, and is a great place for students with experience to fine tune their practice.


What we'll do:

  • Discuss the purpose of Yoga and the benefits of maintaining a practice

  • Break down the mechanics and alignment of the most commonly used yoga poses

  • Learn breathing and concentration techniques that can be used on and off the yoga mat

  • Sharpen the tools necessary to gain strength and flexibility

  • Learn ways to modify your practice around injuries and sensitivities

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat (free mats available at the studio)

  • Water + small towel (you may sweat a little)

  • Cash or Venmo payment (if signing up at time of event)
