Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with Jeanne Sparrow, to celebrate the release of her newest book, Fearless Authenticity, on Wednesday, August 6th at 6:00 pm in our Downers Grove store. Sparrow will be in conversation with writer Heidi Stevens.
Event Format
We will begin checking you in approximately 30 minutes before the start time. After a presentation and Q&A with the author, the line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:
Posed photo with your camera taken by our staff
There is a limit of 2 books from home to be signed (unless otherwise stated)
There is a limit of 1 personalization of the new book only (unless otherwise stated)
All events have open seating. The “Order Line Number” on your pdf ticket is your reserved place in the signing line. You will line up to meet the author based on that number.
If you cannot attend, you must pick up your book (if included with ticket) at the hosting store within 30 days of the event. We can ship that book to you for an additional charge of $9.99; please call the store to arrange that.
Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.

About the Author:
Jeanne Sparrow is a multihyphenate communicator with more than thirty years of experience in broadcasting and various media. She's an award-winning speaker who has commanded stages before crowds of thousands, a respected leadership and communication consultant to Fortune 500 clients, and a graduate faculty instructor in Northwestern University's School of Communication.
She has won seven regional Emmys; hosted her own daily TV talk show; cohosted daily morning radio shows with comedic giants Steve Harvey, George Wallace, and Danny Bonaduce; and interviewed hundreds of Hollywood heavyweights. Jeanne currently hosts her own weekly radio show for V103, the #1-ranked iHeartRadio station in Chicago, along with her podcast Fearless Authenticity with Jeanne Sparrow, and appears regularly on top-rated Chicago TV stations as a fill-in host and guest. She's also an actor and voiceover artist, appearing in commercials, episodic television, and movies.
Jeanne's life passion is sharing stories with clarity and hope, with the goal of creating connection and community, helping others to do the same in their own worlds. She resides in Chicago, Illinois.
About the Conversation Partner:
Heidi Stevens is a Chicago-based writer and the Director of External Affairs for the University of Chicago’s TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health, which works to provide parents, caregivers, and communities the knowledge and tools to optimize foundational brain development in all children. Prior to joining University of Chicago, Stevens worked at the Chicago Tribune for 23 years, where she wrote a daily column called “Balancing Act.” She was awarded the Anne Keegan Award for Distinguished Journalism in 2018. Stevens maintains a nationally syndicated column once a week, is a keynote speaker, frequent live interviewer and moderator, and former podcast host.
