Join Anderson’s Bookshop for an author event with Darcy Michael, to celebrate the release of Attention Seeker: A Neurodivergent Comedian's Guide to Thriving with ADHD, on Wednesday, March 4th at 7:00 pm at Stevenson Hall inside Wentz Science Center on the campus of North Central College. Michael will be in conversation with his husband, and fellow comedian, Jeremy Baer.
Event Format
We will begin checking you in approximately 30 minutes before the start time. After a presentation and Q&A with the author, the line will form in numbered order with the following guidelines:
Posed photo with your camera taken by our staff.
There is a limit of 2 books from home to be signed.
No personalizations.
All events have open seating. The “Order Line Number” on your pdf ticket is your reserved place in the signing line. You will line up to meet the author based on that number.
If you cannot attend, you must pick up your book (if included with ticket) at the hosting store within 30 days of the event. We can ship that book to you for an additional charge of $9.99; please call the store to arrange that.
Pre-registration is required for this event because space is limited.

About the Author:
Darcy Michael is an accomplished actor and joyfully neurodivergent comedian. Along with his husband, Jeremy Baer, Darcy entertains millions on his viral social media accounts (@thedarcymichael). Darcy and Jer’s sold-out 2023 comedy tour, No Refunds, has been adapted into a stand-up special and is the subject of the documentary Happily Ever Laughter. In 2024, No Refunds: The Album reached number one on North American comedy charts. Darcy and Jer live on Vancouver Island, Canada with their golden retriever, Yuma (@yuma.dog). About the Conversation Partner:
Jeremy Baer is one half of the comedy duo Darcy & Jer. He’s known for his dry wit, impeccable timing, and for being the calm, rational counterbalance to Darcy’s chaos (a role he did not apply for). Alongside Darcy, Jer debuted a comedy album at #1 on the charts and completed his first world tour, selling out 50+ shows to audiences around the globe.
