There are 2 reasons event planners don't get the job they want:
1) Not qualified
2) Inexperienced
The six-week boot camp is designed to equip you with the training and hands-on experience to demonstrate your skills as an event planner. Your portfolio should answer the questions, “What can this event planner offer me? What type of events can I trust him/her to plan?”
The purpose of an event portfolio is to answer questions a client or employer might ask you. Creating a portfolio can seem overwhelming but with a step-by-step boot camp, you will have a comprehensive portfolio in six weeks.
Boot Camp includes hands-on assignments, coaching, and feedback to build your event portfolio with or without experience. Most event planners use their portfolio for performance reviews, promotions, interviews, or to get new clients.

After Boot Camp, you will earn the Accelerated Event Planning Certificate, which indicates 6 consecutive weeks of professional development training and 32 education hours to earn the CMP. Each weekly assignment takes 60-90 minutes to build your event portfolio.
