3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Day Unity Brunch Fundraiser

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Alliance for Civic Engagement (ACE) will host its 3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Unity Brunch in celebration of what would have been Dr. King’s 97th birthday.

The Dr. MLK Day Unity Brunch, taking place from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together and honor the values of equality, justice, and peace that Dr. King championed. This in-person event will feature inspiring speeches, dynamic performances, award presentations, recognition of community leaders, premier networking, in addition to a delicious brunch.

This year’s distinguished participants include:

• Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, a powerful voice for the people (Keynote Speaker)
• Robin Robinson, Former longtime Chicago Fox 32 News Anchor (Co-Emcee)
• Atiba Buchanan, Chicago WVON Radio Host (Co-Emcee)
• A special performance by the acclaimed dance company Praize Productions, with additional program performers to be announced

As with the 2025 event, ACE will also host an After Brunch Social Event immediately following the Unity Brunch. Join us from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. to mix, mingle, and celebrate. The After Brunch Social is the official After Party, featuring top-tier live performances, DJs creating an unforgettable vibe, complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, and exceptional networking opportunities.

Your generous support of the MLK Day Unity Brunch and After Brunch Social will assist ACE with offering student scholarships and further our mission to promote community engagement and civic involvement through public forums, strategic planning, voter registration efforts, and educational programming.
