Beer 101 Is In Session: Check Out Armstrong Brewing's Beer Education Classes

If you’re going to be in the South San Francisco area anytime soon and enjoy everything about beer, then head on over to the Armstrong Brewery. The Brewery offers not only several great beers along with an excellent option of food, but it also houses beer tasting events and classes educating you about beer. Now, you can have a beer in your class. It’s even better than college!
Armstrong Brewing Company
Armstrong Brewing Company’s location is in the cellar of a historical downtown building across the street from the Southern San Francisco City Hall. On tap daily is a choice of twelve beers that offer both house and guest beers. Besides beer, guests can also partake in cider, wine, and other soft drinks. The presentation of Armstrong Brewing Company’s floor plan is an open one so that customers can view the actual brewing process in action. Guests are welcome to sit at the bar, the barrels, or in the community style seating area.
For those that decide to frequent Armstrong Brewing Co. often, the brewery offers a Barrel Society Membership that provides members with exclusive access to barrel aged beers, membership pricing, and access to some of their special events. Armstrong’s Beer Education Classes
One of the unique upcoming special events offered by Armstrong Brewing Co. is a beer education class titled “How to Taste Beer” taking place on Saturday, June 24 at the brewery. This class allows you to do more than just drink beer; you will be able to learn what it takes to produce great beer. The brewery’s head brewer, Nick, will discuss what you should be looking for when you drink your beer. The class lasts two hours and takes place in the brewery’s taproom.
