Let the Wiltern in Los Angeles Be Your Next Venue

Let the Wiltern in Los Angeles Be Your Next Venue

Mar 30, 2017 Dr. Kristina Nelson

The historic Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA is one of the oldest venues still actively promoting entertainment in the city. The elegance of a bygone era is experienced as soon as guests enter the building. The Wiltern is decorated with colorful terrazzo paving and art deco tile designs full of bright murals. Probably the most famous design present in the Wiltern is its sunburst auditorium’s ceiling.

The Wiltern’s History

This beautiful venue comes equipped to serve as a great platform for a wide array of events. Built in 1931, the Wiltern was the brainchild of Los Angeles’s oldest architectural business, Moran, Walls & Clements, and the specific architect that designed it, Stiles O. Clements. When it first opened, the Wiltern was called the Warner Brothers Western Theatre. After much selling, redesigning, and renovating,, the Wiltern was sold to Wayne Ratkovich in 1981 it. Wayne worked alongside remodelers to create the spectacular building we see today.

What the Wiltern Offers

As part of its history, the building has hosted countless corporate events, private concerts, weddings, receptions, and even business meetings. Its location within Los Angeles is a big beenefit to event organizers, as they will have a large selection of musical performers and other entertainment to choose from.

Furthermore, the Wiltern offers full-service event production, modern lighting and sound equipment, and custom menus. Equipped with a friendly and experienced staff, employees at the Wiltern are prepared to make your next event a success.

The Wiltern also holds a close relationship with Live Nation, the largest entertainment company in the world, which may be of much use to your event planning. All of the Wiltern’s employees are also highly knowledgeable and experienced and are available to assist you with any of your event planning needs.
