New York Piano Society

New York Piano Society provides a platform for gifted pianists in non-musical careers to galvanize their musical lives, hone their talent, and perform on major New York City stages. 

NYPS launches talent from the living room to the stage by presenting workshops and recitals, culminating in performances at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Because our pianists meet professional standards, they are frequently joined on stage by celebrated instrumentalists, singers and orchestras.

NYPS Members include a financial analyst, a mathematician, doctors, lawyers, an architect, a teacher, a pilot and a policeman – diverse people united in a singular passion for the piano. They captivate audiences at events that are often free. Membership begins with an audition.
