Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens began as a group of women interested in roller derby in June 2007. They met at a local roller rink with visions of one day organizing a roller derby league. MDRV became a WFTDA member league in 2011 and currently competes for national rankings with the other flat track roller derby leagues in the area. MDRV boasts skaters from the MD/PA/VA/WV areas. MDRV has two teams, both of which that travel: All-Stars and Cannon Brawlers. When not skating the league's members are deeply involved with local charity organizations.
