Celebrity Chef Dana Herbert, known as The Sugar Daddy or The Cake Doctor , is the owner of an award winning bakery called Desserts By Dana. He is known as Delaware and Philadelphia's King of Cakes. Desserts By Dana prides itself on our wonderful wedding cakes, sugar sculptures, custom cakes, and tasty miniature desserts for all occasions. Chef Dana graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Hotel Restaurant Management.  He is also trained on both sides of the kitchen.  He holds a BS in Culinary Arts and a AS in Pastry Arts from Johnson and Wales University.

Chef Dana has garnered a lot of attention for his big win on Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker, a hit show on TLC, which premiered in December 2010. Chef Dana was also named one of the Top Ten Cake Designers in the United States by Dessert Professional Magazine. Chef Dana's bakery, Desserts By Dana has received numerous awards including Best Bakery in the State by MSN, Top 100 Bakeries in American by Brides Magazine, Best of Delaware, People Choice Award, and numerous other awards.

The nation has seen Chef in a number of shows in his career such as: Wedding Cake Wars, Ultimate Cake Off, Next Great Baker, Cake Boss, Halloween Wars, Cake Hunters, Cake Wars, My Fair Wedding with David Tutera and others that due to non disclosure cannot be leaked yet.  Chef Dana has also been on the Macys Culinary Council, a regular on Fox 29 in Philadelphia, a regular at the Epcot Food and WIne Festival as well as a participant on the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour.   Chef has even been featured at the James Beard House.  You can catch him in a number of magazines with interviews and article that include Essence, The Huffington Post, Grace Ormonde, Dessert Professional, American Cake Decorating, Chef Magazine, Delaware Today, Munaluchi Bride, B Collective and many many more.   Chef Dana was also the winner of the Rachael Ray celebrity bakeoff with Nate Berkus.
