BUSINESS VALUATION HAS BEEN SAID TO BE MORE ART THAN SCIENCE, AND VALUING A STARTUP IS PROBABLY MORE OF A CRAPSHOOT  THAN AN ART.

Even though your aunt Nellie gave you $50,000 for a 1% interest in your new venture, it is probably not worth $5,000,000.

But what is it really worth?

Join us on December 13, and hear from our panel: a private investor who has invested in over 80 early stage ventures, an entrepreneur who funded his business with two crowdfunding campaigns and an appearance on Shark Tank; an experienced financial executive who took his company public, and the founder of an angel investment fund.

JOHN ASON, Private Investor: John describes himself as a "Early Seed Stage Angel" who invests in 5 to 10 startup companies a year- learn his formula for investing.

PHILIP PETRACCA,  CEO, Fizzics.
Philip runs a business that generates over $3Million in revenues - and started with a kickstarter campaign and a successful appearance on Shark Tank.  How did Phillip put  it all together?

BERT MARCHIO, Chief Accounting Officer, Edge Therapeutics,  Bert oversaw the Edge Therapeutics IPO in 2015, and before joining Edge, Bert was an Operating Partner with a a healthcare-focused investment firm and held financial officer positions with two private equity sponsored companies.  Bert understands valuations from the inside out.

JONATHAN HAKAKIAN, Co-Founder, SoundBoard Angel Fund,  early stage investors. Jonathan has directed the due diligence process in SoundBoard's growing portfolio of 20 companies, and knows what to look for when it comes to valuing an early stage company.
