Yoga of 12-Step Recovery Y12SR

An open 12-Step meeting with a donation based yoga & meditation practice. This is a safe space for anyone that is affected by their own or someone else’s addiction (ie: shopping, media, eating, drugs/alcohol, relationships, etc). All “A’s” are welcome. In this offering we’ll explore two powerful life affirming practices (yoga and the 12-steps) in a safe space with:

-positive community, mindfulness, movement and stress reduction techniques for relapse prevention and overall wellbeing.

Suggested donation: $15 for the yoga class portion. no one is ever turned away as you are more important than your money. and the even cooler thing is that 1/3 of the money goes to a local non-profit working with addiction & recovery! the other 2/3rds go to our yoga teacher and to pay rent for the space.

what to bring/wear:
-a yoga mat if you have
-water
-clothes comfortable for movement
-anyone that would benefit from this awesome offering!

There's plenty of street parking and we have lots of yoga props to use and a few yoga mats.
