You'll be attending your class with your instructor LIVE, just like in your real-life class.
Still Life imagery has been a focus for artists over the centuries. In this class we will examine how photographers can bring inanimate subjects to life by experimenting with different arrangements, lighting, and compositions.
Part 1: Saturday, December 5, 2020, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We'll talk about choosing your subject, inexpensive approaches to lighting and set up, compositional choices, determining what you want to communicate and equipment basics. If you have something specific that you want to learn how to shoot, have it available for this class.
Projects: December 5-12
At the end of Part 1, you'll receive projects to complete during the week and show in the next session. If you do have a specific object that you want to shoot, that will be your project. Prior to Part 2, you’ll receive instructions to send your best images to your instructor.
Part 2: Saturday, December 12, 2020, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This session is a slideshow review and discussion of the photos you have submitted, with input from other students and recommendations.
