Donald Trump does not represent the progressive values of Marquette, Michigan. We will not honor him on President's Day. While he is technically and literally our President, on a symbolic level he has yet to prove he intends to serve with our interests in mind.
This is a peaceful demonstration. It is a rally, not a march. It will take place on the corner(s) of W. Washington and Third Street.
Regarding the event name: After consultation with many other progressives, we've altered the name to less inflamatory title. As angry as we may be, negativity is the low road. We hope you'll feel more comfortable participating and promoting this rally.
