The Oregon Intervention System (OIS) is Oregon's system of training and implementing the principles of Positive Behavior Support and Intervention to staff that support adults and children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) that may display challenging behaviors.
In order to take this Online Training - YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE ZOOM APP PRIOR TO THE CLASS DATE
The online portion of this Training takes place
Day 1: May 19th Online Time: 9am to 4pm
Day 2: May 21st Online Time: 9am to 12pm
In Person PPI skills training for DSP Connection Contractors
Day 2: May 21st 1pm to 4pm at the DSP Connections office for the PPI skills training
Day 3: May 24 PPI Webinar for those outside the Salem area Time: 1pm to 3pm
Important COVID Information that impacts the (PPI) Protective Physical Intervention portion of this training.
After you take the two day curriculum training with me. You will be required to complete a quiz. you must pass the quiz with an 80% to be able to attend the PPI Webinar, you will receive your 2yr OIS certificate after successful completion of the PPI Webinar.
